Matt purchased Trademark Garage Floors in 2022 as a new career after serving in the military. Trademark Garage Floors is the longest running garage floor business in the Tampa area, since 1981, and Matt saw the opportunity to continue the legacy of satisfying 1000s of customer with the highest quality floors. He runs the business with the discipline and efficiency that all customers expect. Matt is most interested in providing the highest level of attention to detail to avoid any complaints. In fact, less than 1% of floors installed by Trademark Garage Floors need repaired under warranty.
Matt earned a Master’s degree from Penn State and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. Besides his Army Reserve career, Matt has been a lawn maintenance business owner, defense contractor, manufacturing line manager, and forest firefighter. Matt resides in Lutz with his wife, Rebecca, who is a director for a local corporation. During his time off, Matt enjoys spending time raising his three daughters.
Before owning Trademark Garage Floors, Matt was an Officer in the Army Reserve and National Guard for over 20 years. He has tested leadership experience in combat as an Infantry Platoon Leader. On his latest five-year tour at CENTCOM, he was entrusted as second in charge of the Joint Operations Center, running the Command during the night shift. Matt also commanded a 100 personnel Detachment for three years.
